The five things that decide your pay
- Role. A fresher usually starts in freight forwarding operations, documentation, dispatch or warehouse supervision. These are entry desks; the pay reflects that. Coordinator, in-charge and manager roles come with experience.
- Employer. An international forwarder, an e-commerce hub, a 3PL warehouse, a customs broker and a small transport company all pay differently for the same title.
