Why study logistics in Ernakulam

Ernakulam is Kerala’s logistics capital. Cochin Port and the Vallarpadam container terminal, the cargo complex at Cochin International Airport, Cochin Shipyard and the freight forwarders, customs brokers and shipping lines around Willingdon Island and Kakkanad all hire from here. Studying in the district puts you next to the companies that recruit, and our placement drives and internships are built on those relationships.

Laurus Institute is at North Kalamassery, Kochi, a short walk from the Kalamassery Metro station and on the main bus routes from Aluva, Edappally, Kakkanad and Ernakulam town. Students travel in daily from across the district, and from Thrissur, Kottayam and Alappuzha; hostels and PG accommodation are available nearby for students from other districts.
