Who we are

Laurus Institute for Training and Human Resource (“Laurus”, “we”) is a logistics and supply chain training institute in Kochi, Kerala, part of the Laurus Group of Companies. This policy explains what personal information we collect through laurus.org.in and our enquiry channels, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you enquire with us — through a form on this website, a WhatsApp message, a phone call, a college seminar test or an expo stall — we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, district, college, qualification, the course you are interested in and the answers you give on our career assessment forms. Our website also records standard technical information such as your device type, browser and the pages you visit.

Why we collect it

We use this information to answer your enquiry, explain our courses, arrange counselling and demo sessions, send you course details and admission updates, and prepare your personal career report where you have taken one of our assessments. We contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Advertising and cookies

We advertise on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When you reach us through an advertisement, the click identifier from that platform (for example a Google click ID) may be stored with your enquiry so that we can measure which advertisements lead to admissions. Google Ads and Google Tag Manager set cookies on this site for that purpose. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Who we share it with

Your details are used by our admissions and counselling staff. They are processed on our behalf by the service providers that run our systems — our own student management software, WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms), email, and the advertising measurement tools named above. Each provider may only use your information to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as they are useful for admissions and for our legal and accounting obligations. Student records are kept for the duration of the course and the period required by law afterwards.

Your choices
